Mademoiselle Lounge Chair By Artek

The Mademoiselle Lounge Chair is made from solid birch and was specifically developed for the home. Crafted using an age-old construction method, the spoke back contrasts strikingly with the smooth modernist curves of the seat’s softly rounded edge.
In creating the Mademoiselle, designer Ilmari Tapiovaara drew inspiration from traditional Finnish chairs, then applied his own modern design approach. Also available as a rocking chair.
